A About the Staff
At Young Orthodontics, we are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is friendly and outgoing and loves to create great smiles. Each member of our treatment team is excited to serve you, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending the Damon forum and meetings hosted by the American Association of Orthodontists.
Debbie Hicks
Hello, I am Debbie Hicks. I have been in the Orthodontic field since 1998, after graduating from dental assisting school at Brown Mackey College.
I live in Gardner, but was born and raised in the state of Maine. I went to school with and dated the now very famous Patrick Dempsey!!! I am now looking forward to getting married to Dan, the man of my dreams, sometime in 2009.
I have three wonderful children. My nineteen year old is in his first year of college. My sixteen year old is a junior at GEHS. My youngest is a six year old girl and a little princess. She just started kindergarten at Moonlight Elementary. They all keep me very busy.
My hobbies include scrapbooking, photography, and anything to do with Dan and the kids!

I have been in dentistry for almost twenty five years. I have spent fourteen of those years in orthodontics.
I have also had an opportunity to travel to USC to help in the orthodontic department. The best part of my job is getting to know people and helping them achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. I have recently joined the awesome team at Young Orthodontics. I'm looking forward to providing patients great care as a part of this team.
I am an alumni of Spring Hill and still live there. My husband and I have been together for twenty years and we have a daughter, two sons and two finches. You can always find me behind a camera taking pictures of family activities or my kids sporting events. When I am not behind a camera I'm busy exercising and doing yard work or scrapbooking.

I joined Young Orthodontics in 2009 as the Public Relations Coordinator!
I received a Public Relations Degree from Northwest Missouri State University and am passionate about serving people. I enjoy spreading the word about Dr. Young's quality work and friendly staff. I will be the friendly face you see at the front desk or throughout the office. It's my mission to make sure you have an excellent experience beginning to end. We enjoy getting to know our patients as friends!
I live in Spring Hill with my husband Jon and son Ryan. As a family we love the outdoors! We love to travel and do any activity that involves our two labs and one yorkie. We love skiing, hunting, camping, boating, and spending time with our friends. I love running into patients in the community and getting to know them better.
Andrea Hutt
Practice Administrator
Andrea Hutt has enjoyed an exciting career in the dental field spanning 14 years. Her career in the industry began as a Certified Dental Assistant. Andrea’s path then turned to professional meeting planning. Since 2005, Andrea has been the Practice Administrator for Young Orthodontics. Andrea is excited to serve the community through creating beautiful smiles
In my spare time I enjoy photography, music and bird watching.
Sheri Sudduth
Patient Care Coordinator
I have worked in the dental field for over 13 years, eight of which I have enjoyed serving patients by specializing in orthodontics. In March of 2007, I proudly joined the Young Orthodontics team and travel between our Spring Hill and Olathe offices.
You will find me in our treatment area helping you by assisting in placing and removing braces, changing wires during adjustment appointments, and providing excellent brushing and care instructions. If you are straightening your smile with Invisalign, I will work closely with you to help you achieve a beautiful smile the invisible way!
When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time at home. I have 15 years of dental experience-10 of those in orthodontics. I have two children a husky and a cat.
Ann Wolfmeyer
I joined Young Orthodontics in February 2010 as Scheduling Coordinator. I will be the friendly face you see at the front desk. It is my mission to make sure you have an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I truly enjoy getting to know each and every patient.
I have lived in Spring Hill with my husband Phil since 1999. I have two grown daughters Jennifer and Jessica. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, and reading.
Krista French
After earning my associates degree in applied sciences and dental assisting in 2007. After two different types of positions in the dental field, my journey lead me here to Young Orthodontics. I have always been interested in and passionate about the dental field and am so excited to be working in orthodontics. I love seeing all of our smiling patients and getting to know as many of them as possible!
I enjoy spending time with my wonderful boyfriend of several years, Brian. We love live music, local bands, and the KC skateboarding community. When I am not doing these things, I am spending time with my friends, my awesome dad or just hanging out in the house with my radical cat Ms. Buckley.
