F First Visit

We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of potential treatment options. Your appointment will begin with a tour of our office followed by x-rays and photographs to assist the doctor in diagnosing any type of orthodontic care that you may benefit from. Dr. Young will then conduct a thorough orthodontic evaluation and discuss with you all treatment options.

During the initial examination for each patient, we will address the following questions that cover orthodontic care. We encourage you to ask questions as well.

• What kind of orthodontic care is best for me?
• Is orthodontic care needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
• What treatment method will be used to correct the problem?
• Do any permanent teeth need to be removed?
• How long is my orthodontic care estimated to take?
• How much will it cost?
• Is financing available?

After your initial evaluation you will leave with a written diagnosis of the care necessary and a plan of how your personal care will take place. You will also have a clear understanding of your financial options and a date of when you can start your orthodontic care.
